Due to an internal promotion, we now have an opportunity for a new Accounts and Administration Officer to join our Team! This is a permanent full-time position, working in our Finance Department.

This is a key role within our organisation and incorporates a number of responsibilities including:
- Invoicing
- Receipting
- Banking
- Reconciliations
- Petty cash management
- Payments
- Data entry
- Other accounts payable and receivable tasks
- Assisting with cashflow forecasting and payroll
- General office administration tasks and other duties as required
- Reception coverage and directing incoming telephone calls

To succeed in this role, we would expect you to have following experience, capabilities and qualities including:
- Experience performing in a similar role
- Love the numbers! You will really excel in this position if you have an accounting mindset and commercial awareness
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service abilities
- A motivated, highly organised and analytical individual, with very high attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively, consistently multitask, prioritise and meet important deadlines
- Experience and confidence in using accounting software. We are currently transitioning from Greentree to Xero, so you must have a willingness to learn and operate programs effectively
- Highly proficient in using Windows and Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel skills
- Tertiary qualifications (TAFE or University) in accounting, administration or another relative discipline would be desirable, but not essential
- A genuine team player who enjoys working collaboratively, but can also work successfully autonomously
- A positive “can do” attitude and enjoying yourself at work is essential
